Many attend Dusty storage hearing

 


A large number of Dusty area residents attended the public hearing for the McCoy permit request for a grain storage facility immediately across Highway 26 from Dusty on Thursday evening of last week. It was at the public service building in Colfax.

The ruling will be given in approximately 10 days from the date of the hearing, April 28.

Linda Hennigar spent Easter at the home of her daughter’s family, Tami, Jay and Wesley Banks, in Kennewick. Joining them for Easter dinner was Jay’s brother, Greg, also of Kennewick. Hennigar returned home the Tuesday after Easter.

A week ago Friday, Linda Hennigar attended the funeral for her first cousin, Jerry Camyn, in Spokane. His mother, Gertie Haugness Camyn, was sister to Linda’s mother, Altona Haugness Wigen and aunt Rachel Haugness Stueckle, former Dusty residents. Linda sang for the services.

Diane Monson, Colene Sager and Judi Overstreet attended a baby shower luncheon for Shelby and Markie Roth of Moscow on Saturday in Pullman. Markie is the daughter of Mark and Cindy Ziegler. This will be their first grandchild and it is due to arrive near the end of May.
