St. John man arrested on probable charges

Joshua K. Coniber, 38, St. John, was booked into jail here April 23 on probable charges of unlawful imprisonment and rape of a child after being interviewed at the sheriff's office about the allegations. The alleged victim is a female between the ages of 14-16.

Bond for pre-trial release was set at $100,000 at a first appearance in court April 24. He was also ordered to have no contact with the alleged victim in the event he is allowed release.

The arrest report by Officer Shane Emerson said alleged incidents occurred over a span of time.
