The Department of Ecology (Ecology) is making a National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit modification in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 90.48 Revised Code of Washington (RCW), Chapter 173-220 Washington Administrative Code (WAC), and the Federal Clean Water Act.

The Department of Ecology (Ecology) proposes to remove the requirement for submittal of a facility plan, additional effluent characterization and receiving water sampling and necessary changes to footnotes.

Ecology is issuing a draft amended permit and fact sheet amendment and is only accepting comments on the modified portions.

The wastewater, following treatment, must meet the requirements of the Washington State Water Pollution Control Act and applicable regulations for a permit to be issued. A tentative determination has been made on the effluent limitations and special permit conditions that will prevent and control pollution. A final determination will not be made until all timely comments received in response to this notice have been evaluated.

that a public hearing will be held by the Town of Endicott in Town Hall, 201 C Street, Endicott, WA 99125, May 14, 2019, at 7:00 pm.

The purpose of the public hearing is to review community development and housing needs, inform citizens of the availability of funds and eligible uses of the state Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), and receive comments on proposed activities, particularly from lower income persons residing in the Town of Endicott.

Up to $750,000 may be available to the Town of Endicott on a statewide competitive basis to fund public facility, community facility, economic development, planning and affordable housing projects that principally benefit low- and moderate-income persons.
