Tekoa Royalty Chosen

Madison Kalmes, left, was chosen as Miss Tekoa and Avery McFarling princess at the March 23 program. Madison is the daughter of Jennifer and Greg Kalmes, and Avery is the daughter of Brenda and Alan McFarling. They will make their first appearance during Lilac weekend festivities. John Heaton was the emcee of the afternoon program, entitled "She's Got Mail." The entrants were scored in four categories: interview, talent, poise and impromptu question.
