Colfax FFA plant sale nears

Colfax Junior-Senior High School FFA members will put on their annual plant sale May 3-4.

At work on the project since January in the greenhouse, the students will offer plants from ivy geranium baskets to wave petunias, tomatoes and bedding plants, baskets and vegetable starts.

"The plant science class and multiple FFA members this year have done an awesome job caring for the greenhouse," said Michael Heitstuman, FFA advisor. "They have learned a lot about plant care and greenhouse maintenance."
