Churches host pastor applicant

Trinity and Peace Lutheran Churches call committees visited with a pastor candidate and his wife, Ian and Corrin McMichael. The committees were made up of members from both churches and include Georgie Leinweber, Alice Barlass, Kathy Carr, Julie Teade, Pete Wiggins and Rex Rutledge from Peace Lutheran; Chris Nelson, Sue Bafus, Georgia Wells, Margaret Schmick and Louise Owens, Trinity Lutheran. The Trinity call committee took them to visit the school and showed them around town. Trinity held a meet and greet social at the Parish Hall.

Endicott Community Club hosted free bingo at the Endicott Food Center April 13. The tables were full. Appetizers and desserts were served.

Trinity Lutheran Elizabeth Circle has been working on quilts all winter to wrap around clothing and sundries for children through Lutheran World Relief. Working on this project are Louise Owens, Carol Hannas, Georgia Wells, Gail Bilow, Sue Bafus, Margaret Schmick, Jerrine Grey and Barbara Huntley. These bundles will be blessed April 28 at the church.

Endicott Park and Recreation is getting the children of Endicott ready for baseball season. Tia Langston is in charge and getting all coaches, parents, children and equipment ready for this year's season. Practices began Monday.
