Route 26 Vintage Market returns

Route 26 Vintage Market will return this spring to the Palouse Empire Fairground April 12 and 13 after its first two years in the Jenning’s Elementary School Gym and moving last October to the fairground for its first fall show. The event will be in two buildings which will have antiques and vintage items, plants, specialty foods and more. This is the market’s fourth event and will coincide with WSU’s Mom’s Weekend.

Vendor numbers at the market have almost doubled, which is a part of the reason for the move. They have 27 vendors with the possibility of getting more. The market will be in the Community Building and Display Building at the fairground.

“Our vendors have everything from antiques and vintage items to up-cycled clothes, jewelry and wood working items like cutting boards and handmade pens,” said Debi Anderson, one of the three owners of Route 26 Vintage Market, LLC.

Anderson, Tami Schwartz and Nancy Thorson came up with the idea of setting up Route 26 because of the fun experience they had as vendors at another vintage market and decided to bring the experience to Colfax.

Vendors include local artists and antique dealers such as Bully for You, Palouse Harvest Soaps and Wild Wearables.

Vintage camping trailers will also be on display

They will also include a food vendor as well as Nana Marie’s Cupcakes and More food truck.

The event will be open 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. April 12 and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 13.

Admission to the Vintage Market is $5.
