Volunteers help with spring cleaning at Perkins House

A nice, sunny and warm spring day welcomed volunteers to Perkins House for its annual spring clean up party. Several members of WSU's Circle K club, an international community service organization sponsored by the Kiwanis Club, volunteered to help put a sparkle back into the grounds and interior of the house. After a long, cold winter, the grounds and garden were especially in need of attention. An extensive amount of pine tree trimmings and debris needed removal from the recent trimming of the 150-foot tall tree. Jim Fitzgerald brought his large flatbed trailer.
