Open lab set at Center

During spring break, the Center at the Colfax Library will be open and filled with hands-on activities. Youngsters ages 6 and up are invited to open lab Wednesday, April 3, 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.

Activities will include creating working electronic circuits with Snap Circuits or littleBits, designing keyboards to play music using conductive materials and Makey Makey kit, exploring the world of computer programming to control Ozobot mini robots or Lego Mindstorms, and using Legos or magnetic blocks to complete building challenges. Staff members will be on hand to answer questions and pass out snacks!
