Randy Stanczak

Feb. 12, 1961 - Feb. 9, 2019

A celebration of life will be held for Randy Stanczak, 58, at 2:00 PM on Friday, April 12, 2019, at Centerplace, located at 2426 N. Discovery Place, Spokane Valley, WA 99216. Attire will be casual and feel free to wear Gonzaga paraphernalia for a team Randy loved dearly. A celebration of life is deeply appropriate for a man who loved life, his family and friends, and made every gathering a joyous and happy occasion. With a smile that lit up a room, Randy never knew a stranger and made all who met him feel comfortable and welcome. His hearty laugh and warm, generous, bear hugs will be deeply missed.

Randy was born on February 12, 1961, and grew up in Oakesdale, Wash., with his parents, Frank and Beverly Stanczak, and sister, Shannon. Having lived most of his adult life in Spokane, he had recently moved to a new home in Liberty Lake with his wife, Melissa.

Always a hard worker, starting at age 12 with his own lawn mowing business, Randy has worked the last ten years for Raven Industries as an account manager. Randy died unexpectedly from unknown causes following knee surgery.

He is survived by his wife, Melissa; sister, Shannon; stepdaughters, Michelle Mitchell and husband, Jeremy; Amanda Watilo and husband, Steven; Jessica Cook, and Cassie Sheldon and husband, Hayden; and grandchildren, Alyssa, Nathan, Evan, Zoey, Claire, and Harrison. He is also survived by his mother and father-in-law; sisters and brothers-in-law; as well as numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.

Please visit Randy's online memorial and sign his guestbook at http://www.yatesfuneralhomes.com.
