TSA offers airport sessions to sign up for pre-check

TSA pre-check enrollment services will be at the Pullman-Moscow Regional Airport March 7, 8 a.m. - noon and 1 - 5 p.m., and March 8, 9 -11:30 a.m. and 1:30 - 6 p.m. in the ARFF Training Room. The expedited screening program helps take the stress out of travel.

Pre-Check offers the ability to bypass normally slow-moving security lanes in favor of an expedited one. By going through the TSA Pre-Check lane, passengers no longer have to remove shoes, the 3-1-1 liquid compliant bag, laptops, light outerwear/jackets, and belts.

TSA Pre-Check is offered at $85 for five years. To complete the application process, bring proof of identity and U.S. citizen documentation such as a U.S. passport or a “certified” birth certificate and a driving license. A valid U.S. passport is recommended as it serves as proof of identity and U.S. citizenship.

The application process is completed on-site. It includes fingerprinting and the collection of the $85 fee by credit card, money order, company check, or certified cashier's check. Cash and personal checks are not accepted.
