Parenting sessions slated at Jennings

A free positive parenting workshop will be offered in two sessions, April 23 and 30, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Jennings Elementary School in Colfax. This workshop is designed for families who have a child displaying undesirable behaviors.

Part one will deal with what is behind behaviors and behavior prevention. Part two will be identifying and effectively teaching positive behaviors.

An optional home visit is available to all families that attend, tailoring these methods.

Free child care will be provided to all who sign up, and a free dinner will also be provided.
