Leland Mattly

Leland (LeRoy) Mattly, 81, of Endicott, Wash., passed away Feb. 11, 2019.

Leland was born in Griswold, Iowa, in 1937. He moved out west in 1957 and met Lorena in May., they were married in October. He farmed in Othello, Wash., for 20 years and then moved to Benge and farmed for another 20 years. He then bought a place and moved to Endicott to retire, and worked for another 10 years doing what he loved.

He is survived by his wife, Lorena of 61 years; three children, Lori (Michael) McNeilly of Colfax, Linda Peterson (Dave) of Deer Park, Louis (Belinda) Mattly of Boise, Idaho; six grandchildren, Misty Zornacki, Linet Lamb, Dillon (Britani) Lamb, Mckenzie (Andrew) Gillette, Rani and Christopher; 12 great-grandchildren, Isaac, Gage, Hudson, Ali, Cooper, Liam, Ava, Tristen, David, Andrew, Sarah and Elizabeth. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister.

We will be celebrating his life on March 2, 2019, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Endicott, Wash., at 11:00 a.m. with luncheon to follow.
