Club gift aids Perkins clothing display

Nancy Rothwell, left, Perkins house volunteer, and Phyllis Kincaid, president of Athenaeum Club, look over three dress forms which were donated to Athenaeum and will be used to display the unique and beautiful vintage fashion pieces in the museum's collection. Volunteers at the Perkins House have been unable to properly display many of the dresses and suits in the collection. Children-sized fashion pieces especially needed displaying, but without the correct size dress forms, it was impossible. Rothwell said volunteers at the Perkins House are especially grateful to the club for the gift.
