BB Club plans jazz fest stop

The Dusty BB Club's next meeting will be Saturday, Feb. 23. For those who reserved tickets with Diane Monson, the group will meet at the Breakfast Club in Moscow at 11 a.m. for brunch and then will attend the Jazz Festival at the University of Idaho.

David Stueckle treated Dale and Vicki Broeckel to dinner at the Old European restaurant in Pullman Sunday.

Rob Myrick visited with his eight-year-old grandson, Broden, Sunday at the home of Broden's great-grandparents, Lucky and Joan Myrick.

Linda Hennigar attended the funeral service for her aunt, Dagmar Kirking, Jan. 18 at First Lutheran Church in Sandpoint, Idaho. Linda sang a solo during the services.

Mrs. Kirking died Jan. 14 at the age of 94. She is survived by her husband of more than 65 years, Marvin; two sons, Matt (Donna) of El Cerrito, Calif., and Brett (Pam) of Post Falls, Idaho; a daughter, Jill (Mick) Lee of Spokane; four grandchildren, and one great-grandson, Wyatt Kirking.

She was the sister of the late Rachel Stueckle and Altona Wigen of Dusty. Nieces and nephews attending the service included Dave and Elaine Stueckle Hogan, Richland; Loren Stueckle, Pasco; Gracia Stueckle, SeaTac; Gary Stueckle, Edmonds; Jerry and Kathy Camyn, Spokane, and Bob Hennigar, Riparia/Dayton.

Dana Erickson and her sons, Derek and Darin, were among a group of 15 participants, sponsored by First Baptist Church in Colfax, who traveled to Brazil to help with a building project. All three Ericksons also helped with activities at the children’s camp. They returned home Sunday. Erickson reported they had a wonderful time, made new friends and were grateful to be of service.
