RFP for an Electronic Timekeeping System

WHITMAN COUNTY

STATE OF WASHINGTON

Sealed RFP’s will be received for the following proposal by Jessica Jensema of Whitman County, State of Washington, at its Auditor’s Office in the Whitman County Courthouse in Colfax, Washington, until 5 p.m. Pacific Time, on April 30, 2019. The RFP’s will be reviewed by designated staff and the Whitman County Board of County Commissioners. A notification of recommendation will be made to the Whitman County Board of Commissioners on July 29th 2019. The selected contract will go to the Whitman County Board of County Commissioners for approval and signatures on August 5, 2019.

Each RFP is to be separately sealed in an envelope addressed to Jessica Jensema with the name of the company and RFP item, including time and date of opening written plainly on the outside of the envelope. (NO FAXES ACCEPTED.)

The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all RFP’s or to accept the RFP which in its estimation best serves the interests of Whitman County.

NOTICE OF A SPECIAL MEETING

Notice is hereby given that a special meeting of the Whitman County Commissioners has been called by the Board and will take place on Monday, February 4, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the cafeteria of the Steptoe Elementary School, Steptoe, WA located at 12 Tennessee Street, Steptoe, Washington.

The purpose of this special meeting is to review a petition received requesting the commissioners enact an ordinance that specifies activities residents of the unincorporated areas of Whitman County can not engage in, i.e. number of inoperative and unlicensed vehicles, amount of trash/garbage and encroachment on all county roads. Based on the petition, any action would not affect open space/agricultural land, rural home sites, shops and open storage of equipment.

Bid Conditions. The Bidder must supply all information required by the bidding documents and must bid on all items presented. Federal Requirements for Federally Funded Projects. This Project is being partially funded under the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airport Improvement Program (AIP).
