Timberwolves roll 3 more wins

Tekoa/Rosalia boys rolled out three more wins to stretch their record to 10-2. The T-Wolves will travel to Ritzville Friday to play the Broncos and then return to Tekoa to host Colfax in an all-county battle in the NE south.

Colfax finished the week at 9-2 and will host Reardan Friday before making the trip to Tekoa for the matchup of NE neighbors.

The Timberwolves fought Asotin Friday to notch a 65-62 win over the Panthers in a league matchup with Craig Mueller hitting 20 and Garrett Naught hitting 17.

They posted a 39-28 lead at the half and fought off a Panthers' rally in the final seconds. Also scoring for TR were Anthony Gering 3, Noah Beach 4, Riley McLain 8, Mitchell Billings 12, and Keegan French 1.

The Hawks out-paced Springdale 72-52 with McLain dropping 18 and Mueller hitting 15.

Tekoa/Rosalia Tuesday posted a 72-52 win at Rosalia over SJEL in the second round of a non-league booking. McLain hit 16 against the Eagles, and Naught hit 15.

Jaden Danielson led all scorers with 23 for the Eagles, and Kameron Greenhalgh hit 21.

The Eagle girls rolled past Tekoa/Rosalia 60-33 in the Tuesday non-leaguer with Drew Curtis-Brewer hitting 22 and Brooklyn Bailey hitting 18. Elise Wilkens topped TR with 10.

Friday at Tekoa in a battle of NE-South teams in search of a first league win, Asotin rolled out a 53-29 decider with Adrienne Washington hitting 17, snagging 10 rebounds and 10 steals. The Panthers had a 26-14 lead at the half.

The win was the second for Panthers on the season.

Emily Kramer hit 8 for Tekoa/Rosalia, and and Meghan Billings hit 7.
