Rosalia fifth-graders win STEM challenge prize

Rosalia fifth-grade students Megan Maley, London McLain, Gwen Olson and Kayla Eilertson stand with their medals by the Circle G Ranch, the project which won them the 3D printer and $100 gift card last fall by placing in the top three nationally for Purple Plow's Cattle Ranch Riddle Challenge. The gift card was used to purchase more STEM products for the classroom. Teacher, Jodi Heitstuman was recently emailed the new challenge that has been announced for this spring. The Pollinators Challenge is to answer "What can we do to sustain or improve pollinator well-being?" and has to be submitted by May 1. The girls have not yet used the new printer, but the first 3D print they plan to make is a cow.
