Shawn Burt grew up in Clarkston where he graduated from Clarkston High School with the class of 1992. After graduation, Shawn moved to Spokane for a short time before returning back home to Clarkston where he began working for a company called BNI Computers. It was during this time that he met his wife, Janni. In 1996, the couple were married and in 1997 they moved to Colfax when Shawn was offered a job with the Bank of Whitman where he continued to work until 2011.
