Third stop for the day: Speed chase through Colfax, ends with arrest

A formal charge of attempting to elude an officer was filed Jan 2 in superior court against Rachel Marie Doty, 19, Clarkston. She was arrested Sunday after she stopped the car she was driving near the Bill Willson Road intersection. She was booked into the jail here Sunday on a probable charge of felony eluding. The arrest report by Trooper Robert Taylor said the pursuit lasted approximately 10 miles and went through Colfax. Speeds during the pursuit went as high at 98 miles per hour, according to the report.
