Paradise Regional High School students assist with restoration efforts of the Palouse watershed through service learning partnerships with the Whitman Conservation District and Palouse-Clearwater Environmental Institute.

Restoration Efforts on the Palouse is the title of the first presentation in a new monthly series called Science on the Palouse, coming to The Center at Colfax Library Monday, Jan. 14, from 5-6 p.m. Brian Bell, Ecologist with the Whitman Conservation District, will discuss current and future conservation projects in an informative and engaging community program.

The "Science on the Palouse" series will continue the second Monday of each month, with regional experts exploring new topics and issues each month.
