Billy H. Strange

A service with military honors for Billy H. Strange, 73, will be Monday, Jan. 7, 2019, at 11:15 a.m. at the Washington State Veterans Cemetery, 21702 W. Espanola Road, Medical Lake. Father Dale Tuckerman of St. Ann's Catholic Church will do a committal service. Mr. Strange died Dec. 26, 2018, at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane.

Born May 22, 1945, at Wenatchee, to William and Pauline (Orr) Strange, he attended many schools as his family traveled. He graduated from high school in Casper, Wyo., and joined the U.S. Navy July 11, 1968, and was discharged on July 29, 1974.

Mr. Strange made his home in the Spokane area most of his life. He worked for Lamb Weston Company at Connell as an electrician for several years.

He later attended Interface Computer School and received a degree in computer science. Mr. Strange repaired computers and other appliances until he retired.

Billy enjoyed country western music, models, reading and technology.

Survivors include four sons, Travis Strange, Spokane; Bobby Strange and James Strange, Minnesota, and Curtis Strange, Washington; four daughters, Rebecca Jones (Ken), Garfield; Corrina Baker (Jayson), Sandra Strange and Billie Jo Davis, all of Spokane; one brother, Glenn Strange, Spokane; two sisters, Cathy Thomas and Rana Lopez, both of Spokane; several grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
