Bluewood starts skiing season

Bluewood ski resort east of Dayton opened for the skiing season over the Christmas season and will be open daily through Tuesday, Jan.1.

They will then operate on their standard schedule, Wednesday through Sunday and on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Jan. 21.

Bluewood this year has installed conveyor style lifts which replace the former platter pole in the beginners’ area. Skiers now can get up the hill by stepping on the conveyer belt.
