Lois McBride

A Memorial/Celebration of Life will be held for Lois June McBride, age 85, on January 12, 2019, at 1 pm in Oakesdale, Wash., at the Presbyterian Church. There will be a lunch in the church basement following the service.

Lois June McBride was born in Dyersburg, Tenn.,on June 16, 1933, to William and Ruby Bluew. She joined her husband, James in heaven on November 14, 2018, from the Hospice House in Spokane surrounded by family.

Lois enjoyed cooking for and visiting with family and friends. Her grandchildren were a light in her eyes and life right up to the time of her death. She worked very hard throughout her life raising their 10 children and helping to raise multiple grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening and putting up food in the root cellar and, at times, working outside the home to help make ends meet.

Lois and James retired to Oakesdale in 1992 after having lived and worked in many different places throughout their lives. Lois is survived by 10 children, 29 grandchildren, 68 great-grandchildren and 42 great-great grandchildren.
