Amy K. West

A memorial service for Amy K. West, 43, Palouse, will be Saturday, Dec. 22, at the Palouse Federated Church at 11 a.m. with Rev. Corey Laughary officiating. A luncheon will follow the service.

She died Dec. 13, 2018, surrounded by family at her home in Palouse.

Born July 8, 1975, in Longview, she grew up in Longview and in the mountains of New Mexico. She attended schools in New Mexico and graduated from Monzano High School in 1994 at Albuquerque, N.M.

She married Jeff West Jan. 7, 2001, at Palouse, and they made their home south of Palouse, where they farmed. A homemaker most of her life, she also worked in the hotel industry, at a clothing store in Moscow and she taught horse riding lessons for several years. She also enjoyed driving a truck during harvest, animals, hunting, fishing, camping and archery.

Surviving are her husband, Jeff; their three children, Ariel, Sierra and Tristan; her parents, Rene Montgomery and Dennis Van Arsdale; stepfather Henry Montgomery, and a sister, Andrea Adler.

Memorials may be given to the Palouse Federated Church (for a family in need in the community.)
