Coroner reports on two deaths

Whitman County Coroner Annie Pillers Dec. 7 issued cause of death findings on two men who died at separate locations Dec. 4 of self-inflicted gunshot wounds. Manner of death in both cases was determined to be suicide.

Benjamin P. Perkins, 47, died at his residence in Palouse. Pillers reported Perkins had a history of depression and anxiety.
