Tapestry lists show schedule

Linda Hennigar and Diane Monson of Dusty are members of the Tapestry musical group which will present a program of Christmas music at the following dates, times and locations: The Perkins House in Colfax on Saturday, Dec. 8, at 12:30 p.m .; Hill-Ray Plaza in Colfax on Monday, Dec. 10, at 6:15 p.m .; The Courtyard in Colfax on Tuesday, Dec. 11, at 6:30 p.m., and The Atrium in the W.S.U. Library in Pullman on Friday, Dec. 14, at 12:10 p.m.
Kim and Cindy Pitts hosted Thanksgiving for family in their home. Daughter Amanda arrived Tuesday prior to Thanksgiving. Arriving on Wednesday were daughter Carrie from Yakima, the rest of Amanda’s family; Erik, Rafe and Tate from Spokane, and daughter Jen and her family, Ryan, Kellen, Becket and Willa from Meridian, Idaho. The family also attended burial services in St. John on Friday for father, father-in-law, grandfather and great-grandfather Norm Bafus. Everyone returned to their respective homes on Saturday.
Saturday, Karen Broeckel attended a combined birthday party in Spokane for Lauren and Grady Alade, children of Emily and Andrew Nolan. During the celebration, the guests also got to watch excerpts of the episode of ZNation shown on Friday night on the Syfy channel. Grady was one of the cast members on that episode. He was a maniacal warrior. The series is filmed in and around Spokane and this episode was filmed this summer.
Other local area guests included Jeanette Nolan, Greg and Gwen Nolan and Jamie and Todd Kinley, all of Colfax.
