Warren Devaney

A memorial service for Warren Devaney, 70, Potlatch, will be Wednesday, Nov. 28, at 3 p.m. at Kramer Funeral Home in Palouse, with the Rev. Jason Devaney officiating. A potluck luncheon will follow at the Garfield Community Center. Mr. Devaney died Nov. 11, 2018, from cancer. at his home in Potlatch.

Born on Feb 10, 1948, at Paterson, N.J., to David and Sadie Clifford Devaney, he attended schools in Paterson and joined the United States Navy and served during the Vietnam War.

He married Connie Rouse June 15, 1974, at Spokane, and they made their home at Colfax where he worked at Jones Implement Company, the Windshield Doctor and then as a groundskeeper at Boyer Park and later worked at Walmart for several years until he retired in 2014.

The couple moved to Palouse, Oakesdale and then to Garfield. The couple later moved near Tampa, Fla., and in 2017 moved to Potlatch.

Survivors include three sons, Warren David Devaney (Destiny), Springhill, Fla .; Jason Devaney (Andrea), Garfield, and Warren John Devaney, Potlatch; one daughter, Christina Paradiso (K.C.), Lewiston; numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
