PROPOSAL: Whitman County Solid Waste Management Plan (SWMP) for the

Planning Period 2019-2024

DESCRIPTION OF PROPOSAL: The Whitman County 2018 SWMP discusses the management and disposal of municipal solid waste generated in Whitman County for the 2019-2024 planning period. The plan discusses the goals and objectives of the SWMP, identifies the type and quantity of waste generated in the County’s waste stream, and describes the current solid waste programs and facilities in the County, as well as their implementation schedule. The SWMP offers recommendations, following the analysis of potential program and system enhancements. The final chapter of the SWMP discusses the County’s moderate risk waste management plan.

AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF FARMINGTON, WASHINGTON, ADOPTING THE BUDGET FOR 2019, Setting forth appropriations and estimated revenues and adopting, by reference, the final budget for 2019.

THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF FARMINGTON DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1: The Mayor of the Town of Farmington completed and placed on file with the Clerk a preliminary budget,

including estimates of revenues and expenditures for operations of the town for the fiscal year beginning January 1st, 2019 and ending December 31st, 2019.

SECTION 2: The Town Council has made such adjustments and changes to said preliminary budget, as it deems necessary or proper at the time.
