Honoring those who have served

Diana King of the Whitman Samplers stands with the seven veterans who received Quilts of Valor during the Veterans Day observance at Jennings. Honorees included Alan Wride of Garfield, Carl Ogren, Michael Sheer, Rod Clausen, Gene (Scooter) Brannan, Don Deen and Richard Gebhardt. Don Hall was presented a Quilt of Valor at the Steptoe ceremony. A reception for the veterans followed in the JES library.
