Hargraves trial date set

Pullman Police Sgt. Dan Hargraves pleaded not guilty Friday morning in superior court to a charge of sexual misconduct with a female WSU student after she had been taken into custody by him early last March 31. Hargraves, a 19-year veteran of the Pullman Police department, was released on his own recognizance after being arrested Oct. 30.

He was scheduled for trial Jan. 14. Hargraves was represented in court by Pullman attorney Roger Sandberg. Pullman Police Chief Gary Jenkins placed Hargraves on paid administrative leave with the department at the time of his arrest....
