Medicare help set at county libraries

Medicare plans need an annual review as they change in cost and coverage every year. Join Statewide Health Insurance Benefits Advisors volunteers Joyce and Daniel Leonard for free and impartial information tailored to meet the needs of current and future Medicare recipients. The Leonard’s have saved local residents thousands of dollars in reviewing their Medicare plans. To receive the best assistance, participants should bring a list of current medications. Drop in anytime during the scheduled hours for assistance.

Programs have been scheduled on the following library branches:

Nov. 2: Endicott, 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m .; Malden, 2:30 to 5:30 p.m.

Nov. 6: Palouse, 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m .; Albion, 3:30 to 6 p.m.

Nov. 12: Colton, 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m .; Garfield, 2 to 5:30 p.m.

Nov. 14: Colfax, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Pearl Bouchard, navigator for Washington HealthPlanFinder, will be available.

Nov. 30: Uniontown, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Bouchard will be available.

SHIBA is a free, unbiased service of the Washington State Office of the Insurance Commissioner and sponsored locally by Aging and Long Term Care of Eastern Washington.
