Fair board will sharpen new grandstand plan

Palouse Empire Fair board members Monday night got a look at a concept drawing of the type of grandstand which could replace the present grandstand at the fair. Bill Tensfeld, who heads the county office which includes the fair and other agencies, passed out the drawing as part of a move to get a sharper focus on what the fair needs to replace the grandstand.

Tensfeld explained he has had discussions with Southern Bleacher Company about the long-standing fair project, and a representative of the company came up with a drawing of a grandstand which they installed for a customer in Utah.
