Real results

I think one could say that I am a Tom Foley fan, big time. Here was a man that was able to work with both sides of the aisle and get tangible results that benefitted all residents of the fifth district and beyond. He along with Bob Dole were able to work up a farm bill that benefitted a lot of folks down here in the Palouse. He delivered: the Tom Foley Highway from Ritzville to Pasco, he delivered a number of buildings on campus at WSU for the Vet. School, he along with Henry Jackson and Warren Magunson delivered the Intercollegiate College for Nursing Education in Spokane.

I bring you this because this is what I see in Lisa Brown. She, along with Elson Floyd and others worked to secure funding for the Washington State University Medical School. Already the effects of this are being experienced in Spokane and the outlying areas.

We, in Colfax have the privilege of having one of our own as a student there. The purpose of all this is that graduate doctors will stay within our area communities to bring quality health care to all.
