Thursday, Oct. 11

Malden – 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. – Junior Night – Grades 2 to 5, come to the library for friends, snacks and fun.

Colfax – 6 p.m. – Happy Hour Yoga – You are invited for an hour of refreshing yoga, followed by an optional “happy hour” that includes friends, finger foods and beverages. Cost is $10 to benefit Colfax Cheerleaders.

Endicott – 6 p.m. – Senior Paint Night – Everyone age 60+ is invited for a creative evening. Cost is $8. Please RSVP to 657-3429.

St. John Rialto – 6:30 p.m. – Trivia Night – Bring your team, test your knowledge, and WIN free food and drinks. Special spooky trivia. Bonus point if your entire team dresses up, plus a prize for best costume.

Friday, Oct. 12

Endicott, Malden, Palouse, St. John and Uniontown – Storytime – Join us for learning activities, music and more.

Malden – 6 to 8 p.m. – Adult Crafts – Come out for a fun evening of crafts, creativity and conversation.

Colfax – “Replica Oil Paintings from Museums Around the World” – View this exhibit now through Oct. 19.

Saturday, Oct. 13

Endicott – 1 p.m. – Teen/Tween Bingo – Fun, friends, prizes and, of course, BINGO.

Colfax – Ever Green Exhibit – See political cartoonist, Herb Block’s collection of environmental illustrations.

Monday, Oct. 15

St. John and LaCrosse – Free Medicare Help – Medicare plans need an annual review, as they change in cost and coverage every year. Join SHIBA volunteers, Joyce and Daniel Leonard, for free and impartial information.

Colton – 10:30 a.m. – Storytime – Take your little ones on a reading adventure.

Colfax – 3:30 to 5 p.m. – Caregiver Support Group – Support and resources for those caring for loved ones.

Tuesday, Oct. 16

Farmington and Rosalia – Storytime – Kids, bring your grownups for a fun and educational storytime.

Colfax – 11 a.m. – Friends of Library meeting at 4 p.m. – Board of Trustees Meeting. Everyone is welcome.

Colfax – 1 to 3 p.m. – Knitting for Beginners – Always wanted to learn to knit? Here is your chance.

Palouse – 3:30 p.m. – Afterschool STEAM – Grades K to 5 are invited for STEAM fun with WSU students.

Wednesday, Oct. 17

Colfax, Garfield, LaCrosse, Malden, Rosalia, Tekoa, Uniontown – Afterschool fun – Call your local library or visit online for details.

Tekoa – 6 p.m. – Hollywood and the Homefront – Experience the still-powerful images, radio and film that emerged from this period of America history with audio historian and former broadcaster, John Jensen.

Rosalia - 7 p.m. – Book Club – Everyone is welcome to participate in a lively book talk.

Thursday, Oct. 18

Colfax, LaCrosse, Tekoa – Storytime – Kiddos and families are invited for storytime every week.

LaCrosse and Palouse – Hollywood and the Homefront – Experience the still-powerful images, radio and film that emerged from this period of America History with audio historian and former broadcaster, John Jensen.

Farmington – 2 to 5 p.m. – Adult Flu Vaccine Clinic – Flu vaccines are available from Whitman County Health Dept. Appointments are encouraged, but walk-ins are okay. For appointments, insurance, or billing, call 397-6280.

Colfax, Colton, Farmington – Afterschool Fun – Check the website or call your library for more information.

Endicott – 7 p.m. – Book Club – Bring a friend and a snack for an evening of exciting conversation.
