Bulb planting at Rosalia school

October 11, 2018

Paige Howard

Rosalia teacher Paige Howard and first grade students participated in bulb planting sponsored by Rosalia Garden Club Friday at the Rosalia grade school. The students learned how to plant the bulbs and when to expect the blooms. This project was planned to plant the new daffodil bulb called 'Plant America' which has been released exclusively by National Garden Clubs, Inc., but it was sold out, so President Rana French stepped in and donated bulbs from her own garden. Garden Club members prepared the ground for bulbs that will bloom in the spring.
