Colfax XC teams win at Northwest Christian

Both Colfax teams Tuesday won in cross country action at Northwest Christian.

Colfax girls booked a 31 team score with Anna Cocking taking the win at 23:46 and Tayma Vanek placing third at 25:20

Republic girls finished behind Colfax with a team score of 54.

Anais Mills of Garfield/Palouse placed second behind Cocking with a 25:12 clocking.

Colfax boys won with 32 points on the team score, way ahead of the 88 logged by number-two Chewelah.

Gavin Merritt of Tekoa/Rosalia added another win on the season with an 18:36, and Kolby Slate led the Bulldogs with a second-place finish behind Merritt at 2...
