Novel 'Idaho' selected for next Everybody Reads

“Idaho” by Emily Ruskovich is the 2018 everybody reads selection. The early announcement allows residents ample time to read the book prior to Ruskovich’s regional appearances November 5-8.

Recently selected as Idaho’s Book of the Year and awarded a Pacific Northwest Book award, “Idaho” has been described as “a beautifully written murder mystery and powerful psychological drama set against the stunning landscapes of Idaho.”

The novel was a finalist for the International Dylan Thomas Prize, an Edgar First Novel award and among The New York Times 17 most anticipated books in 2017.
