Garfieldto host music recital

In conjunction with Garfield's Harvest Festival this weekend, the Garfield Planning Committee for the recently purchased Methodist Church building invites the public to a free opening event Saturday evening, Sept. 29, in the Sanctuary room. Matt Zook, John Elwood and friends will provide live music on a variety of instruments from 7 - 8 p.m., with a family-friendly movie starting at 8 p.m. All are welcome to attend.

The town hopes to use the former church building for regular musical and community events, as well as continue as the location of Seedlings Daycare.
