Heppner, Oregon to arrive for homecoming

Another new non-league chapter for Colfax football will hit the turn Friday night when a team from Heppner, Ore., arrives to face the Bulldogs in the homecoming game. Heppner is the seat of Morrow County which is in the middle of Oregon southwest of Pendleton.

Colfax will host the Oregonians after posting a 2-1 record on the new season with an early comeback home win Friday over the Davenport Gorillas. The Bulldogs took the win after Coach Justin Young's Gorillas look like they were about to blitz the Bulldogs in the first quarter.
