Endicott Community Club met Aug. 28 at Trinity Lutheran Church. The meeting was called to order by President Cinda Tribble. The group discussed Multiflora Park and work that is going to be done in the next couple of months. They voted to have a contractor from Spokane come to remove stumps and level off the land for the Veterans Memorial. They also continued planning on upcoming events.

The first day of school was Aug. 29 and one Endicott Elementary School 4th grader, James Robert Garrett, and his mom, Jessica Pelissier, rode horses into school. This is the second year he has gotten to ride on his horse instead of the usual school bus for the first day of school. James is the son of Joshua Garrett, Endicott.

Jenny Meyer, Endicott Food Center, catered a lunch at the Threshing Bee at the Whitman County Fairground on Labor Day.
