GPOP strokers pile up wins in swim opener at Colfax

Swimmers from GPOP posted a big win last Thursday in the swim season opener at the Colfax pool.

Garfield/Palouse/ Oakesdale/Plummer rolled up a total of 588 points for a margin of 176 points over number-two Pomeroy.

The Pirates totaled 411.5 points, and host Colfax placed third with 364.5. Maddie Johnson of Palouse won five of the six events for girls 12 & under. Daniel Orfe and Daniel Kramer of Palouse dominated the senior boys races. Kane Weiker of GPOP took first in all individual events for the boys 14 & under.
