Support Rembert

Judging by all the political signs around Whitman County, one of the most contested races seems to be the race for District Court Judge. There are three qualified candidates running for the position and they’re all keeping the sign industry in business.

I’m supporting attorney Rob Rembert for the position, having served with him on a number of committees, including the board of the Pullman Chamber. He’s been an outstanding contributor. He has been an attorney for 22 years, served as a temporary District Court judge and a Superior Court Commissioner. He has more civil practice than the other candidates and, to me, that’s important, since close to 40 percent of the cases filed in Whitman County District Court are civil.

Judging by my experience with Rob, he would be an excellent district court judge. He would make sound and well-reasoned decisions, and he would make sure that all parties were heard.
