Serving Whitman County since 1877

Backs Rembert

We are fortunate to have three enthusiastic candidates for District Court Judge. The successful candidate will assume the position now held by Doug Robinson, who will be retiring at the end of his current term. During his years as District Court Judge, Doug has very ably served us.

The three candidates now vying for the position all appear to be qualified to handle the job. Of the three, the candidate with whom I am most familiar is Rob Rembert. Rob's roots run deep in Whitman County. He is descended from some of the County's earliest settlers. I first became acquainted with Rob shortly after he began his law practice in Pullman.

Over the 20 years since, I have had numerous opportunities to observe him in his capacity as an attorney. I believe Rob would be an exceptional District Court Judge. He is thoughtful, has had broad experience in both civil and criminal cases, is well versed in the law and, above all, is fair and unbiased.
