Marc Richard Black

Marc Richard Black, a longtime resident of St. John, passed away on July 3, 2018, at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, Wash. Memorial Services are planned for September. Marc was born on January 15, 1955, to Richard and Teresa (Lockhart) Black in Spokane. Marc grew up in St. John, where he graduated from St. John High School. After high school, he moved to Tacoma, where he met Sheree Ralston. They moved back to St. John together, and married in April of 1975, in Rosalia where they raised their two daughters, Desiree and Deidrea. They moved their family to Grants Pass, Oregon for a short time before moving back home to St. John where they started their company, Sunset Lawn and Shrub in 2000. Marc loved raising and riding their horses, fishing and being outdoors. He is survived by his wife Sheree at their home in St. John; his two daughters, Desiree Heavens and Deidrea Terwilliger; eight grandchildren, Casey, Trevor, Austin, Bo, Makayla, Tristan, Ashlynn and Desmond; and one great-granddaughter, Macie Mae.
