Work advances on Glenn Miller bridge

Work on the Glenn Miller Bridge replacement project on Huntley Road west of Colfax is moving ahead as a Public Works crew builds two steel abutments this week. The crew is scheduled to set concrete beam girders in place Wednesday, July 11.

The work is expected to be done the week of July 16.

“Probably by the end of that week we'll be open for traffic,” said Mark Storey, Public Works director.
