Sharon Huff reports on trip

Endicott

Sharon Huff has returned from visiting her three children and their families, Bob, Julie and PJ Huff in Antioch, Calif. While there, they all flew to Hawaii as a high school graduation gift to PJ.

She visited Mike, Kathy, Jay and Katrina Huff in Durham, N.C., and while there they got to go to a couple of University of Virginia basketball games to see grandson, Jay play. The last place she visited was Anacortes to see her daughter and her family, Sheryl, Terry, Lauren and Shelby Kyllo.

Trinity Lutheran Church held its annual Easter Egg Hunt. The yard and bushes held colorful eggs filled with candy. The children arrived in an array of Easter attire with their baskets, ready to find the eggs. The church also gave each child a gift bag, cookies and drinks.

Anne Lowe attended the Hospital Auxiliary meeting in Colfax Monday. The group is getting ready for the Spring festival, and committee heads gave their progress report. The event will be on May 10 and will offer new and nearly new items, perennial plant starts, annual flowers, books, lunch and a raffle. All proceeds will go toward needs at the hospital.
