2018 Elected Board Member Position Due Notice

The Pine Creek Conservation District is pleased to announce an opportunity to contribute to conservation and your community by serving on the Board of Supervisors.

Supervisors are public officials who direct the activities of the Conservation District.

Although they serve without compensation, they are eligible to be reimbursed for appropriate expenses.

One elected position is up for election.

Interested candidates must submit a completed Candidate Information Form to the district by the filing deadline of 5:00 PM, January 31, 2018.

Candidate must be a registered voter, must reside within the District boundary and may be required to own land or operate a farm.

2018 Election Due Notice

Pine Creek Conservation District adopted a resolution at their December 13th, 2017 board meeting setting an election for an expiring elected board position on the Pine Creek Conservation District Board.

The election will be held February 28, 2018 at the District Office, 401 S. State Route 27, Oakesdale, WA. Polls will open at 1:00 PM and close at 6:00 PM. Registered voters who reside within the Conservation District boundary are eligible to vote.

Elections procedures are available at the district office.

Absentee ballots are available upon request for eligible voters, but must be requested on or before 5:00 PM on February 7, 2018.

NOTICE IS GIVEN that sealed bids will be received by Whitman County Fire District 7 at the regular meeting of the Board of Fire Commissioners Meeting at the Rosalia Fire Station, 607 S Whitman Ave. Rosalia Washington 99170. Bids will be accepted on or before February 8, 2018 at 7:00 P.M. Said bids will be for one brush truck as described in the bid specifications.

All bids must be submitted prior to the date and time indicated above in order to be considered.

RCW 11.40.030

LILA J. JOHNSON has been appointed as Personal Representative of this Estate.

Any person having a claim against the decedent must, before the time the claim would be barred by any otherwise applicable statute of limitations, present the claim in the manner as provided in RCW 11.40.070 by serving on or mailing to the Personal Representative or the Personal Representative's attorneys at the address stated below, a copy of the claim and filing the original of the claim with the court in which the probate proceedings were commenced.

The claim must be presented within the later of: (1) Thirty days after the Personal Representative served or mailed the notice to the creditor as provided under RCW 11.40.020(1)(c); or (2) four months after the date of first publication of the notice.

If the claim is not presented within this time frame, the claim is forever barred, except as otherwise provided in RCW 11.40.051 and 11.40.060.

This bar is effective as to claims against both the decedent's probate and nonprobate assets.
