Library lists county Summer Reading participants

Whitman County Library’s Summer Reading youth successfully logged more than 5,550 hours of reading time to complete the 2017 program. This record topped last year’s reading accomplishment of 5,180 hours. “Build A Better World” was the theme presented by a consortium of states working together to provide public libraries with high quality educational materials for children, teens and adults.
