Library trivia begins 5-town tour

Another strong crowd showed up for a recent library trivia session.

Whitman County Library’s trivia contests are drawing crowds, with some teams traveling from town to town to compete. Whitman County Library provides the information expert while the hosting organization provides the prizes. Upcoming contests will be at the following locations:

• The Rialto in St. John on Saturday, June 3, at 6:30 p.m.

• The Hyde Out in Colfax on Thursday, June 15, at 6:30 p.m. The winner gets a ceiling tile.

• Slippery Gulch Days in Tekoa on Saturday, June 17. Time and location TBA.

• Farm Fest in LaCrosse, outside next to City Hall on Friday, June 23, at 6:30 p.m.

• The Brass Rail in Rosalia on Saturday, July 15, at 7 p.m.

Participants can come in teams of up to eight people or be placed in a team upon arrival. Participants improve their knowledge, support local businesses and interact with others in the community.
